Lakeview Labor Day 5K Community Run/Walk
Lakeview Ministries will hold a community 5K run/walk on Monday, Sept 7, 2026 at Camp Lakeview in Seymour, Indiana. The event is organized by a non profit Christian camp and aims to raise funds for camper scholarships with a stated goal of $10,000. Standard registration is $35, with an early discount of $10 for registrations by August 2 and a $5 discount for registrations by August 29. Registration opens in July and same day check in and registrations are available.

The course is a single loop on paved roads around Lutheran Lake. The route begins with a steep climb in the first quarter mile, gaining about 100 feet, followed by roughly one mile of flatter road, a descent, and a second half containing several steep rolling hills. The start and finish are at the Camp Lakeview dining hall. Total ascent is listed as 324 feet and total descent as 337 feet.
Community Day features a brunch for all attendees, camp activities such as mini golf, a giant slip n slide, tire playground, a horse barn, a 9 hole disc golf course, and yard games. All finishers receive a custom finisher medal; kids in the fun run receive award ribbons. Race shirts are available by preorder or on event day.
