Lakesman Triathlons - 20 June 2027

Lakesman Triathlons returns to Keswick on Sunday 20 June 2027 and will include both half and full distance options. The event is based in Keswick with a large transition area at The Theatre by the Lake. The swim takes place in the waters of Derwentwater. The bike course travels into the western Lake District. The run includes countryside sections with views towards Skiddaw and a spectator friendly stretch through Keswick Rugby Club, which hosts the finish area, registration, prize presentation and merchandise.

The event is supported by principal race partners including Better and Cumberland Council. Organisers report positive feedback from previous races: independent research found that 100% of spectators would return to watch and 97% of athletes would compete again and recommend the event. The organisers also describe the event as ranked among the UK’s best triathlons.

There are opportunities to volunteer at the event. Results and galleries from past years are maintained and the organisers have published course information for the full bike route.
