Event Overview
The Lakefront Loop 5K takes place at Navy Pier in Chicago. It is a run and walk event that includes a separate Kids Dash for participants aged 8 and under.

The event is held at Navy Pier, with the specific address being 600 E. Grand Avenue in Chicago, Illinois. The course is the only 5K completely contained on the Pier, utilizing the Northwestern Medicine Wellness Way Fitness Trail that encircles the North and South Docks. Organizers note that the course is very narrow. Dogs and strollers are allowed but are asked to start at the back of the group.
Registration and Fees
Registration is available for the 5K Run/Walk and the Kids Dash. Fees for the 5K vary, with standard registration priced at $51.49 and race day pricing at $56.99. The Kids Dash has a standard registration fee of $23.99 and a race day fee of $29.49. Packet pickup is available on a pre-race day (May 1) at the Peoples Energy Welcome Pavilion and on race morning (May 3) starting at 6:00 AM.
Additional Information
All funds raised support Navy Pier's nonprofit mission. There is no gear check available on race day, but a limited number of lockers can be rented at the Family Pavilion. Pre-paid parking for packet pickup and race day is available for an additional fee during registration. Age group awards are offered for the 5K in various male and female categories.
