Lakebottom Park 5K
The event takes place at Lakebottom Park, 1505 Cherokee Ave, Columbus, GA on August 1, 2026. It includes two road races that start and finish at Lakebottom Park and run on local roads.

Registration opens January 1, 2026 and closes July 30, 2026. Entry fees are listed as $30 for the 5K and $20 for the 1 mile. Participants who register by July 24 at 12 noon are guaranteed a t-shirt.
Packet pick up is available at Big Dog Running Co, 12 West 11th St, on Friday, July 31 from 12 pm to 6 pm. There is no packet pick up on race day.
Awards are given for overall male and female 1st through 3rd, masters male and female, and age group 1st through 3rd in the following brackets: under 14, 15 to 19, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, 60 to 69, and 70 and above. All 1 mile participants receive a medal.
The event is part of the Columbus Roadrunners Summer Series; participants who are registered for the series do not need to register for this individual race. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
