Lakebottom Park 5K - Columbus, GA

The Lakebottom Park 5K is a community running event held at Lakebottom Park, 1505 Cherokee Ave, Columbus GA 31901 on August 1, 2026. The event includes a road race with start and finish at Lakebottom Park and offers two distances.

The 5K and 1 mile courses are established routes. Entry fees are listed as $30 for the 5K and $20 for the 1 mile. Awards are given for 1st, 2nd and 3rd overall male and female, masters male and female, and age-group placings for 1st through 3rd in the following divisions: under 14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 and above. All 1 mile participants receive a medal.

A t-shirt is guaranteed for participants who register by July 24 at 12 noon. Packet pick up is available at Big Dog Running Co, 12 West 11th St, on Friday, July 31 from 12:00 to 6:00 pm; there is no packet pick up on the day of the race. The event is part of the Columbus Roadrunners Summer Series; entrants registered for the series do not need to register separately for this race.
