Lake Washington Half Marathon
The Lake Washington Half Marathon is a loop race that starts and finishes at Juanita Beach Park in Kirkland, Washington. The course runs along the shores of Lake Washington and through Kirkland neighborhoods. The event is produced by Orca Running and is USATF certified.
The race offers a single distance: Half Marathon. Aid stations are located at approximately miles 1, 4, 6.2, 8, 10.3 and 12 and will serve water, GU gels, and Tailwind electrolytes. The event is cupless; participants should bring a handheld bottle or hydration pack, or use a reusable cup provided by the organizers. Pacers are available for target finish times of 1:40, 1:50, 2:00, and 2:15. The course has a cutoff of 3.5 hours.
Logistics notes include parking at Juanita Beach Park and surrounding neighborhoods, shuttle service from a nearby municipal parking garage, and free gear check (participants must provide their own bag). Awards are given to the top three male, female, and non-binary finishers by gun time, and age-group awards are offered in five-year increments; awards must be picked up at the race. Registration is non-refundable, with options to defer or transfer entries; youth and senior discounts are available for eligible participants. The race benefits the Blaine High School Booster Club.
