Lake Tye Challenge : Monroe, WA
The Lake Tye Challenge is a timed running event held on a flat, paved loop around Lake Tye in Monroe, Washington. The loop measures 1.70 miles and is used repeatedly during each timed race. The event offers multiple timed race options so participants complete as many full laps as possible within their chosen time.

- 12-hour race
- 6-hour race
- 3-hour race
A full aid station is provided at the start/finish area for each lap, offering music, water, Hammer electrolyte fuel products, and various energy-rich ultra running foods. A grass lawn at the start/finish area may be used for personal drop bags and canopies (no spikes); bag storage is also available at the aid station. Direct beach access at the venue allows participants to cool down during or after the event.
Chip timing with online tracking is provided by chronokeep.com. Late starts after the official mass start are allowed with prior notification to the race desk. Only full laps are counted in the results.
Each participant receives a wooden medal/coaster and free professional race photos. Special awards are given to the top three male and top three female finishers. The event is organized by the Sky Valley Trail Runners Association, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit; proceeds support improvement and maintenance of the local trail network.
