Lake to Bay Relay & Ultramarathon
Lake to Bay is a single-day relay and ultramarathon held on June 19, 2027, based at Frenchman's Bar Regional Park in Vancouver, Washington. The event covers 100 km (62.16 miles) and accepts teams of 1 to 7 people across a 15‑segment course with 14 exchanges.
The route passes through the cities of Vancouver and Camas, including downtown Vancouver, a clockwise loop around Vancouver and Camas, Old Evergreen Highway, and the Vancouver Waterfront. The course uses city parks, sidewalks, park trails, crosswalks, bike lanes, and the shoulder of narrow roadways. Streets are not closed for the event and all participants must follow pedestrian laws.
Registration includes race entry, one car pass valid for Frenchman's Bar Regional Park and Salmon Creek Regional Park, one parking pass at the finish in the Terminal 1 Garage, an event t-shirt, a finisher medal, and a post race meal provided by Twigs Bistro & Restaurant.
Packet pickup is scheduled at Foot Traffic in Vancouver on June 12. An optional Zoom call is offered in the week before the race for runners and for volunteers. Course markings include orange and pink lawn flags, laminated directional signs on posts, and preassigned sidewalk chalk locations for college and school teams.
Each relay team must provide one volunteer or pay a $75 volunteer fee. Volunteers must be at least 18 years old or 14 when accompanied by an adult. Teams must complete volunteer forms by June 1 and may be assessed a $100 penalty if assigned volunteers do not show. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
