Event details
The Lake Run 5K is scheduled for June 13, 2026, at Clarkco State Park in Quitman, Mississippi. The venue address is 386 Clarkco Road, Quitman, MS 39355. The event includes a timed 5K run and a 1 mile fun run, and also offers a walk category. Results and race timing will be managed by TIME2RUN. All race proceeds will go to Friends of Clarkco State Park to fund replacement of swings and playground equipment at the park.

Entry fees listed in the event information are: 5K pre-registration $30 (by May 25) and $35 after and on race day, which includes the park entry fee if the participant runs at the park. 1 Mile Fun Run pre-registration $20 (by May 25) and $25 after and on race day, which includes the park entry fee if the participant runs at the park. Participants were asked to place a copy of the registration form in the honor box. T-shirts are guaranteed for those who register by May 28.
Awards
5K run awards include overall, masters, and grandmasters, plus 1st to 3rd place male and female in age groups 0-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 and over. 5K walk awards include top three overall male and female and top three in the same age groups.
