The Ivy Trek Ultra
The Ivy Trek Ultra is a trail running event on September 26, 2026 at Clarkco State Park in Quitman, Mississippi. The event offers multiple distances run on a repeated 7.78 mile loop and includes on-site camping options and park facilities.
Distances
- 50K - four laps of a 7.78 mile loop
- 25K - two laps of a 7.78 mile loop
- 12.5K - one lap of a 7.78 mile loop
The course is mostly double track with some single track sections, several bridges, the Gold Fish Pond, and recurring views of Ivy Lake. The terrain is described as hilly. Runners must follow the marked route; short cutting may result in disqualification.
Aid and logistics include one aid station on the loop plus the start/finish area serving as an aid station. Participants are required to bring a personal water container; coolers are available to refill containers. Park gate fees are included with entry; overnight camping, cabins, and pads require separate reservation and fees. Packet pickup is scheduled Friday before the race at Pavilion 2 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and race morning pickup will be available near the start area.
Timing is provided with RFID chips and split times. Each finisher receives a custom medal and all participants receive an official race shirt. The first 100 registrants are guaranteed a custom race patch. Refunds and deferrals are not offered except documented military deferrals. The course time limit for completion is 10 hours.
