The course is mostly double track with some single track, several bridges, a feature called Gold Fish Pond and intermittent views of Ivy Lake. Terrain is described as deceptively hilly. The start, split and finish area is adjacent to parking and grassy areas suited to pop-up tents and small support setups.
Logistics include one aid station on the loop plus the start/finish area serving as an aid station. Participants must carry a personal water container; organizers provide coolers for refills. RFID chip timing records overall and split times, and a results kiosk will offer printouts. Packet pickup is scheduled the day before at Pavilion 2. All participants must finish within a 10 hour time limit; runners who do not start a final loop within the cutoff will be classified based on completed laps. Awards are given by overall gender and standard age groups for each distance. Proceeds are donated to the Friends of Clarkco State Park. The first 100 registrants are guaranteed a race patch.
