Lake Pflugerville Triathlon, Pflugerville TX
The Lake Pflugerville Triathlon takes place on June 20 2027 at Lake Pflugerville, 18216 Weiss Lane, Pflugerville TX. This will be the last Lake Pflugerville Triathlon unless another entity decides to continue the event. The organizers describe the event as family-friendly and offer multiple competition categories.
Athletes can choose from several race formats and support categories:
- Sprint triathlon: 18 Miles, one loop swim bike run
- Olympic triathlon: 35 Miles, two loops of each segment
- Sprint AquaBike: 15 Miles, swim and bike only
- Olympic AquaBike: 30 Miles, two loops swim and bike
- Sprint Duathlon: 19 Miles, 3 mile run 13 mile bike 3 mile run
- Olympic Duathlon: 35 Miles, 3 mile run 26 mile bike 3 mile run
- Relays: sprint or olympic, 2 or 3 person teams
- Para athlete categories: sprint and olympic distances
Sprint triathlon details: the swim is a 500 meter loop, the bike ride uses county roads for approximately 13 miles with low rollers, and the finish is a 3 mile run around the lake on a flat crushed granite trail with water stops. Olympic events use two laps of each triathlon segment. Relay exchanges occur in transition at the bike rack. Organizers ask para athletes to provide classification information so that accommodations can be arranged.
Registration opens July 20 2026 and closes February 1 2027. There are no registration refunds going forward and event insurance is recommended. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
