Lake Macquarie Running Festival
The Lake Macquarie Running Festival is held along the Lake Macquarie foreshore at The Esplanade, Warners Bay. The event features multiple races on a mapped course and uses timing chips integrated into race bibs; the chips remain with competitors and do not need to be returned. Race packs must be collected in person and are not mailed.

Event logistics include supervised baggage claim where belongings are bagged and returned against race number verification. Three on-course aid stations are provided; the final station serves water and isotonic drinks. First aid services are provided by St John Ambulance and a Ramsay Health Care emergency team. Road closures affect sections of the foreshore precinct, with detours in place between Kings Road, Warners Bay and Creek Reserve Road, Speers Point; parking behind The Esplanade shops is recommended.
Entry and registration details note an early bird entry period, on-site race pack pick-up and a late registration option. Entry refunds are available for cancellations received before 1 September subject to a processing fee; no refunds are issued after that date.
