Lake Macquarie Running Festival
The Ramsay Health Care LakeMacRun is scheduled for Sunday 13 September 2026 along the Lake Macquarie foreshore at The Esplanade, Warners Bay. The festival includes multiple running events and on-course support for participants.
Event distances:
- Half Marathon, 21.1 km
- 10.5 km Fun Run
- 4 km Family Scamper
Early bird entry is available until midnight 14 August. Race packs are not mailed and must be collected at specified pick up locations before the event. Race shirts are provided to early registrants; no shirts are available for late registrations although shirts may be purchased at the registration tent on the day.
A printable course map is provided. Road closures and detours will affect the area between Kings Road Warners Bay and Creek Reserve Road Speers Point on the event morning. A supervised baggage claim is available and requires race number verification for collection.
Timing chips are contained within the race bibs and do not need to be returned. Three aid stations will operate on course, with the final station providing water and isotonic drinks. First aid services are supplied by St John Ambulance and the Ramsay Health Care emergency team.
Trophies will be awarded to the overall first three finishers and medallions to age category winners; finisher medallions are given as participants cross the finish line. Results and event photos are published online after the race. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
