Event details
The Lake District Duathlons take place on 29 March 2026 in Grasmere, Cumbria. The event base is The Showfield, Stock Lane, Grasmere, LA22 9SL. Wild Deer Events organises the event. Live chip timing is provided by Timing Up North. Entry is open to people aged 17 and over on the race date. Limited on-site parking is available and some competitors may need to use public parking nearby. An exclusive event T-shirt is available to purchase for £12.
Race distances
- Sprint (Short) Duathlon: Run 5km | Cycle 20km | Run 2.5km
- Standard Duathlon: Run 10km | Cycle 40km | Run 5km
- 5km and 10km Trail Runs are also hosted
Route, transition and finish
Routes for each leg are available to view and download. The transition area is secure and for competitors only; race number and bike number correspond to racking spots. Small bags or boxes are permitted inside transition. Bike number must be attached and helmet visible before entering; bib and bike numbers will be checked before exiting transition. All finishers receive Wild Deer merchandise, an event medal, and a drink and snack. Relay categories are offered for some distances. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
