The Lake Country Triathlon takes place on July 25, 2026 in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin at City Beach on Lac La Belle. The event includes multiple individual and relay distances.

The swim is held in Lac La Belle with athletes starting at City Beach. Sprint athletes complete a single clockwise lap around the southernmost orange buoys. Olympic and Half Iron athletes complete two clockwise laps using their designated buoys. A rolling wave start is used, with small groups entering the water in sequence; sprint athletes enter the water first, followed by Half Iron and then Olympic athletes. Water temperatures at the end of July are typically in the mid 70s Fahrenheit, which affects wetsuit eligibility under the event rules.
The bike course travels through the rolling ground moraine northwest of Oconomowoc and includes a mix of rolling and steeper hills. Many roads on the route have been recently repaved. Half Iron athletes pass on-course aid stations with water, Gatorade, and a restroom; there is no aid on the Olympic or Sprint bike courses.
The run is an out-and-back route along Wisconsin Avenue and neighborhood streets on the southern shore of Lac La Belle. Sprint, Olympic, and Half Iron distances turn at different points and finish near City Beach. Transition has a secured overnight staging option and bike check-in the evening before the race. Finishers receive a custom finisher medal, race bib, and finisher shirt.
