Lake Community Hope 5K and Fun Run
The Lake Community Hope 5K run/walk and fun run takes place on 08/23/2026 at the Lake Community YMCA, 428 King Church Avenue Northwest, Uniontown, OH 44685. The event is held in partnership with the Lake Community YMCA to raise funds for the Lake Community Hope Scholarship Fund in memory of four community members.
The event will use a new course route and will offer expanded opportunities for sponsors and vendors. The 5K includes a chip timing system. There is also a volunteer option and a short fun run aimed at younger participants and supporters.

- 0.7 Miles fun run for younger participants and supporters
- 5K run and walk with chip timing
- 5K competitive walking event
Shirt information: registrations received after July 31 are not guaranteed a shirt. Available sizes are Youth Small to Large and Adult Small to 3X-Large. A no shirt option is available and the shirt fee can be donated to the scholarship fund.
Packet pickup: early packet pickup is at the Uniontown Lions Festival, Hartville Marketplace and Flea Market, 1289 Edison St. NW, Hartville, OH 44632, August 19-22 in the evening. Event day packet pickup is located behind the Lake Community YMCA near the tennis courts.
Awards: 5K run/walk awards for top 3 overall men and women and top 3 in age groups 1-14 through 70 plus. 5K competitive walking awards for top 1 overall men and women. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
