Lake City Running Festival in Plattsburgh, NY

The Lake City Running Festival takes place on May 23, 2026 at the Plattsburgh City Beach, located at 4 Beach Rd, Plattsburgh, NY 12901. This is the fourth annual edition of the event and it features multiple road race distances that start and finish at the Plattsburgh City Beach behind the Crete Center.

The event includes the following distances:

Half marathon
10K
5K

There will be no kids race this year. An athlete guide will be posted one month before the race. The festival includes an after-party with live music, food, beer and wine, cornhole, raffles, and other activities; the after-party is open to the public with a suggested $5 donation for non-athletes to enter. Strollers, baby joggers, and pets cannot be accommodated at the start line; participants with these items will not be permitted to start the race.
