Lake City Running Festival
The Lake City Running Festival takes place on May 23, 2026 at Plattsburgh City Beach, behind the Crete Center. The event program includes three road races and a public post-race gathering with food, live music, beer and wine, cornhole, and raffles. The post-race area is open to the public with a suggested $5 donation for non-athletes.
Race distances offered:
- Half marathon: 13.1 miles
- 10K: 6.2 miles
- 5K: 3.1 miles
Registration opens January 5, 2026 and closes March 31, 2026. Registration fees listed by the organizer are $60.00 for the half marathon, $30.00 for the 10K, and $20.00 for the 5K. An athlete guide will be posted one month before the race.
There will not be a kids race this year. Strollers, baby joggers, and pets are not permitted; participants with these items at the start line will not be allowed to start the race. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
