Event overview
The Half Marathon Unplugged is scheduled for Saturday, April 11, 2026. This is the 20th annual running of the event and features a point-to-point 13.1-mile course that starts at Airport Park in Colchester and finishes on Flynn Ave in Burlington. The route runs along the Burlington Greenway, adjacent to Lake Champlain, with views of the Adirondacks. The course is described as very flat and includes three water stations along the route and a water station at the finish. A post-race festival is planned near Switchback Brewing at the finish.
Race options and logistics
Event options listed include an in-person half marathon (open to ages 13+), a 2-person relay where teammates may split the distance and tag anywhere along the course, and a virtual half marathon. Relay teams are responsible for transporting runners to and from their chosen exchange points; Leddy Park and Airport Park are noted as likely exchange locations. Bib pickup is available in advance at a local retailer and on race day at 1 Main St in Burlington. Bus service, if selected during registration, will transport runners from 1 Main St to the start at Airport Park and will run between 1 Main St and the finish area on Flynn Ave for spectators and runners; buses will not return finishers to the start.
