About the race
LADYCAT ULTRA is a timed endurance event in Mena, AR held on October 24, 2026. The format is a 12-hour elimination challenge in which runners must complete a loop of 3.22 miles every hour on the hour. Each lap must be finished within the 60-minute window to remain in the event.
Runners complete two connected loops each round. The first loop travels through a cottage area; the second bypasses the cottages and follows the main course route. After both loops, runners continue to the round finish. The course uses a mix of paved roads and a short section of dirt road.
If a runner fails to complete a lap within the hour, their race ends. Surviving the first 11 rounds advances the remaining competitors to a final 12th round where those still in the race run head-to-head to determine the winner. The event emphasizes pacing, strategy, recovery between rounds, and sustained effort across repeated hourly laps.
The structure rewards precise time management and the ability to recover quickly between runs.
