Labor of Love Run
The Chapel in Green organizes the Labor of Love Run on September 7, 2026 in Uniontown, Ohio. The event includes a timed 5 km race and a 1 mile fun run or walk on church grounds. The 5 km course begins in the church parking lot, follows Raber Road to Mayfair, and returns to the starting area. The 1 mile event is a loop on the church's newly paved trail. The events are open to all ages.

Registration opens December 10, 2025 and closes July 31, 2026. Early bird fees are listed as $30 for the 5 km and $10 for the 1 mile; prices will increase on July 31. The first 500 registrants receive a custom bib number and a performance top. All finishers in both events receive a custom medal.
Post race refreshments include breakfast sandwiches, muffins, bananas, and water. Awards are given to the top three male and female overall finishers and to the top three in male and female age groups. All proceeds will be given to The Pregnancy and Parenting Center, which provides free and confidential care and information related to unplanned pregnancy and early child physical needs in Stark and Summit counties.
