A Better World Running presents a multi-distance road and beach-path event in Belmont Shore, Long Beach, along Ocean Blvd. The course is described as flat and scenic, using out-and-back loops on the beach path. Chip timing, custom finisher medals, and age group awards are provided; age group awards must be picked up at the race and will not be mailed.

An aid station is located at the turnaround near the start and finish, offering water cups, water bottles, Gatorade cups, and Gu gels. The event includes a drawstring goodie bag, free photos linked to bib numbers, free race videos and cinematic highlight reels, live results on finish, trophies and achievement badges for milestones, and an Ascend Index and app features for tracking races and friends.
Registration details in the event information show an online price of $29.99 and race-day pricing of 5K $35, 10K $40, 15K $45, half marathon $50. Accepted race-day payments include card, cash, Apple Pay, Venmo, Zelle, and PayPal. Group discounts auto-apply for three or more on the Race Ascend platform; additional group arrangements are available through the organizer. Transfers are allowed by request to the organizer and there is a no-refund policy. The half marathon has a 3:15 time limit.
