Reindeer Run in Long Beach
The Reindeer Run on December 20, 2026 is an annual holiday-themed running event organized by A Better World Running along the Long Beach Shoreline Path at 5400 E Ocean Blvd, Long Beach, CA 90803. The course uses the beach path in Belmont Shores and is an open course shared with pedestrians, runners, and cyclists.
The route is marked and consists of out and back loops on the beach path. An aid station at the turnaround near the start/finish offers water cups, water bottles, Gatorade cups, and gel packets.
Distances offered:
- 5 km out and back on the beach path
- 10 km two 5 km loops
- 15 km three 5 km loops
- Half marathon three 4.36 mile loops
Registration includes custom finisher medals, drawstring goodie bags, free photos and videos, live results at finish, age group awards available for pickup only, trophies and achievement badges, and access to the A Better World Running app. Snacks and samples are provided. Group discounts for three or more participants are applied automatically through the event registration platform. Volunteers may receive a free race entry. The event has a no refund policy and accepts several payment methods for race day registration. Parking is free in nearby residential areas; a paid beach parking lot is also available.
