Reindeer Run : Long Beach
The Reindeer Run in Long Beach is a holiday running event on December 20, 2026, held along the Long Beach Shoreline Path in Belmont Shores at 5400 E Ocean Blvd, Long Beach, CA 90803. The course is an open course on the beach path and uses marked out and back loops. Runners are asked to be courteous to other pedestrians, runners, and cyclists on the path.
An aid station at the turnaround near the start and finish provides water cups, bottled water, Gatorade cups, and energy gels. Course layouts include a 5k out and back, a 10k run made of two 5k loops, a 15k made of three 5k loops, and a half marathon consisting of three 4.36 mile loops. Maps are provided for the 5k and half marathon loops.
Registration includes a custom finisher medal, a drawstring goodie bag, free photos and videos, live results upon finishing, age-group awards available for pickup at the race, cinematic race highlight reels, trophies and achievement badges for milestones, Ascend Index rankings and Ascend Crew features, and access to an event app. There are snacks and samples on site. Group discounts are applied for larger entries and volunteer opportunities may provide a free race entry.
A 3:15 time limit applies to the half marathon; transfers and early starts are handled by the organizer.
