La Montée des Sommets GBV : edition September 26, 2026
La Montée des Sommets GBV is a hiking event taking place on September 26, 2026 at Mont‑Sainte‑Anne in Beaupré. The challenge is to climb the La Pichard trail, which has 625 meters of elevation gain, and repeat the ascent as many times as each participant chooses.
The event raises funds for the Fondation pour la protection de la jeunesse de Québec. The foundation provides support to children and youth who receive or have received services from the DPJ and who may have experienced physical or sexual abuse, neglect, or mental health issues. More than one million dollars has been raised through the Montée des Sommets GBV since its creation.
Event activities include participant reception and bib distribution, warm up sessions for different event categories, a family area with inflatables and a face painter, on‑mountain animations with snacks, live music performances and a medal presentation. GBV Avocats is the main partner for the tenth year and has played a role in the funds raised. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
