La Mélanienne 2026
La Mélanienne takes place on Saturday 19 September 2026 in Sainte-Mélanie. The event is open to runners of all ages and aims for 500 participants. Its purpose is to raise funds for recreation and infrastructure for youth aged 0 to 17 in the municipality.
Multiple race distances are offered, including a dedicated 1 km for very young children. Parents may run free with their child registered in the 1 km event. A warm up led by a dance school takes place before each race. Race bibs are distributed on site the morning of the event. Registration requires a client account to reserve and on site registration is available.
Services announced include a water point, toilets, entertainment, inflatables, parking, photography and timing. Apples are provided to all runners. The organizer notes that transfers or event changes are not allowed through the portal and that in a voluntary transfer the new runner uses the registered participant's credentials.
