About the race
The Défi Daniel Lequin takes place in Sorel-Tracy, Quebec, based at the Catherine-Legardeur wharf. The course runs through the Regard-sur-le-fleuve park, providing views of the St. Lawrence River and the islands of Sainte-Anne-de-Sorel. This charitable event supports the Hôtel-Dieu de Sorel Hospital Foundation and the Quebec Lung Association.
Participants can choose from several distances:

Walkers are welcome to participate in the 1 km, 3 km, 5 km, and 10 km events. The 15 km distance is featured for those preparing for a half-marathon or looking for a distance beyond the standard 10 km. Registration includes a personalized bib for early entrants, a finisher medal, a healthy snack, and on-site entertainment including music, inflatable games, and costumed superheroes. Restrooms are available at the start and finish lines, as well as at specific points along the course, including the Hôtel de la Rive and the Sainte-Anne-de-Sorel wharf.
