The Défi Daniel Lequin holds its 5th edition at Quai Catherine-Legardeur in Sorel-Tracy, in Parc Regard-sur-le-fleuve along the St. Lawrence River, with views of the Îles de Sainte-Anne-de-Sorel. The event offers multiple running and walking distances on marked courses.

Registration fees include taxes and platform transaction charges. Each distance has specific pricing periods up to the indicated deadlines, followed by on-site registration at higher rates. No refunds are permitted. Bib transfers to another person are allowed until April 22, 2026 for a fee of 10 CAD. Distance change requests are accepted under conditions and fees; lowering to a cheaper distance does not result in a refund.
Entries include a personalized bib if requested before April 15, a medal for all participants, a healthy snack, entertainment and ambient music. Toilets will be available at the start and finish area and at several points along the course. Event profits are split equally between the Fondation de l hôpital Hotel-Dieu de Sorel and the Association pulmonaire du Québec. The event takes place rain or shine; if it cannot be held for reasons beyond organizers control, participants may defer or receive a refund less transaction fees.
