La Course de l'Ile : Île des Soeurs, May 30 2026
La Course de l'Ile takes place at the École de l'Île des Soeurs on Île des Soeurs in Montreal on May 30 2026. Event proceeds will be donated to the primary school to fund sports projects and initiatives.
Distances offered
- 10 km evenko reserved for ages 12 and up
- 5 km open to ages 8 and up, walkers allowed with separate ranking
- 2400 m limited to age 12 and under
- 1200 m limited to age 12 and under, adult accompaniment free
The event includes RFID chip timing, personalized bibs for registrations before May 15, medals for the top three men and women in each distance, a healthy snack, entertainment, music, and a bag drop. The 5 km and 10 km courses include unpaved forest sections that may be muddy or slippery in wet weather. The 1200 m and 2400 m courses run on sidewalks and are accessible to participants with reduced mobility. Strollers and carts are not permitted for safety reasons.
Registration and logistics: no refunds will be allowed except if the event cannot be held for reasons beyond organizer control, in which case a deferral or refund minus transaction fees is offered. Bib transfers to another person are permitted until May 22 2026 for a fee. Bib pickup is scheduled Friday May 29 at the school and on site the morning of the event.
