KWF Cleveland Fun Run
The KWF Cleveland Chapter hosts its second annual community event in Strongsville, Ohio. The gathering takes place within the Bonnie Park area of the Cleveland Metroparks. This event provides an opportunity for participants to engage in physical activity while supporting women and families living with breast cancer in the Northeast Ohio region.
Participants can choose between two primary distances:
- 5k (3.1 miles) Fun Run/Walk
- 1 Mile Walk
The event includes several community-focused activities beyond the run and walk. A specific KWF gift delivery is scheduled for a woman with breast cancer during the event. The venue features a designated VIP area specifically for KWF gift recipients and breast cancer survivors.
Following the physical activities, a community celebration is held on-site. This post-race gathering includes a DJ providing music, food trucks, and various activities designed for children. Registration is open to the public for a fee, and the event serves as a fundraiser to support the local chapter's mission of providing experiences for those affected by breast cancer.
