The Kusam Klimb is a challenging 24 km trail race held near Sayward, British Columbia, featuring a rugged loop over Mt. H’Kusam with 1,593 meters of elevation gain. The course includes exclusive access to the award-winning Bill’s Trail and descends through the Stowe Creek watershed, offering stunning wilderness vistas.
A shorter 13 km Mini Klimb with 491 meters elevation is also available for younger or less experienced participants. The event emphasizes environmental care with reusable cup policies and no motorized access on the mountain. Aid stations support runners along the route, and the race fosters a supportive atmosphere with pre-race pancakes and a post-race BBQ.
