Knights 2 Miler and 1.5 Mile Memory Walk
The Knights 2 Miler and 1.5 Mile Memory Walk is a community sports event held at Divine Mercy Parish in Scranton, Pennsylvania. Organized by the Knights of Columbus, the event takes place during Mental Health Awareness Month and focuses on promoting healthy living and community support. The activities are centered around the parish grounds at 312 Davis Street.
Participants have two options for movement during the event:
- 2 Mile Run
- 1.5 Mile Walk
The event includes competitive elements for those participating in the run. Medals are awarded to the top three overall male and female finishers. While the run is a timed athletics event, the walk provides a non-competitive alternative for those wishing to participate with friends or family.
Registration is open to participants of all ages. Logistics for the event include a packet pick-up window on the Friday evening prior to the race at Divine Mercy Parish. Additionally, registration can be completed on the morning of the event at the venue. All proceeds from the registration fees support the charitable missions conducted by the Knights of Columbus within the local community.
