Knight @ the Track is a track meet held at Wilton High School on the school track. The program includes two timed races on the track and uses fully automatic timing. Digital clocks are installed at the 200 meter and 400 meter points.
Distances
- 5,000 Meter Run on the Wilton High School track
- 10,000 Meter Run women only, on the track
The 5,000 meter race is run in multiple seeded heats based on anticipated performance, with Heat 1 for performances under 19:30 and Heat 2 for slower performances. Suggested entry standards note men who expect to run 19:00 or faster and women who expect to run 24:00 or faster for placement in faster heats; slower performances may compete in the second heat.
Registration windows and fees differ by event. The 5,000 meter event opens registration April 25, 2026 and closes June 20, 2026; the registration fee is $30. The 10,000 meter event opens registration June 12, 2026 and closes June 26, 2026; the registration fee is $50. The 10,000 meter race is designated for women only.
