KLEIN ISD Education Foundation 5K & Fun Run
The KLEIN ISD Education Foundation 5K & Fun Run is a community athletic event held at the Klein Memorial Stadium in Spring, Texas. The event serves as a fundraiser for the Klein Education Foundation, an organization that provides grants to teachers within the Klein Independent School District for academic and enrichment projects in the classroom. This edition of the race is underwritten by Campus Kids.
Participants can choose from the following course options:
- 5K Run/Walk: A chip-timed race for various participants.
- Kids Fun Run: A course measuring less than 1 km for students in grades K-5.
The 5K course is officially certified by USATF (Certification #TX20004JH). The Kids Fun Run takes place on the stadium track, covering approximately 1.5 laps, and is organized into different heats based on the age of the runners rather than their school grade level.
The venue is located at 16715 Stuebner Airline Rd. An awards ceremony follows the verification of results for the 5K event.
