Kleefeld Honey Run 2026
The Kleefeld Honey Run takes place in Kleefeld, Manitoba on Saturday, September 19, 2026. The event includes a youth Mini Milk Run and a 5 km road race, and it is sanctioned by the Manitoba Runners Association for 2026.
Distances
- Mini Milk Run for ages 7 and under, one loop of Kleefeld Park (300 m)
- Youth run for ages 8 and up, 1 km
- 5 km road race
The 5 km race has a capacity of 375 runners. Registration opens April 1 and closes in September; the published registration deadline is September 11. The entry fee for the 5 km is $20. The race uses chip timing and participants must wear their race bib visible on the front of the shirt. The first 200 registrants for the 5 km receive a free swag item and every participant receives a honey stick at the finish.
Youth entries cost $10 per runner; the youth runs are not timed and are not included in regular prizing. Strollers are permitted but should start at the back; bikes, motorized chairs, and animals are requested to stay off the route.
Race kit pickup is offered in Winnipeg and in Kleefeld with published dates and locations. The course is well marked, supported by volunteers led by the Kleefeld fire department, and includes a water station at the halfway mark plus water at the finish. On-site amenities include washrooms and porta potties, a perogy shop nearby offering free perogies after a short cool down walk, post-race massage and snacks, a honey vendor booth with cash sales, and an on-site first aid and reunification tent staffed by WinSAR.
