About the race
Kleefeld Honey Run 2026 takes place on September 19, 2026 in Kleefeld, Manitoba, at Park Avenue. The event includes a main 5 km road race held through the town and a youth series called The Mini Milk Run. The youth series is offered in partnership with the Manitoba Runners Association.
Race formats include:
- 5 km road race on a certified course
- 300 m loop of Kleefeld Park for ages 7 and under
- 1 km run for ages 8 and up
Prizes include both honey and monetary awards for top finishers. Additional prize money is available for any individual male or female who breaks the Manitoba Runners Association 5 km fastest race time on a certified course. The kids races are non-timed for participants 16 and under.
Event capacity limits are stated for each race: the Mini Milk Run has a cap of 100 entrants and the 5 km has a cap of 375 entrants. Merchandise is sold through an online store open from April 1 to August 1, with items available for pickup on race day. The first 200 registrants of the 5 km receive free event swag.
