Kinzua Bridge Challenge, Mount Jewett PA

The Kinzua Bridge Challenge is scheduled for Sunday, August 9, 2026, in Mount Jewett, Pennsylvania. The event is based at the Knox & Kane Rail Trail Mt. Jewett Trailhead on Center Street.

The event program includes multiple distances:

  • 10K
  • 5K
  • 2 Mile Walk
  • 1 Mile Run for ages 14 and under

All races use the same out and back course from the Center Street Trailhead. Personnel will be present on the trail to direct participants where courses diverge or turn.

Proceeds benefit the Mount Jewett Swedish Festival Association. A portion of funds is allocated to the Penn York Oil and Gas Scholarship at the University of Pittsburgh Bradford to support students in Energy Science majors. Proceeds exceeding the scholarship donation will be used to promote economic development, education, innovation, and community revitalization in and around the Mount Jewett area.

Chip timing and registration management are provided by Wolf Creek Race Management. Awards include finisher medals at the finish line. Online results are provided for registered participants. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
