Kinship Average Jo Triathlon, Perham MN
The Kinship Average Jo Triathlon takes place on June 27, 2026, at Paul Miller Park, located at 45476 County Highway 51 north of Perham, Minnesota, about one mile from the city limits. This is the 21st annual Average Jo and it is a fundraiser for Kinship of the Perham Area. Kinship’s mission is to transform the community through mentoring local youth.
The event follows a short-course triathlon format with three legs and includes an option for relay teams. Registration details published by the organizer include opening and closing dates, standard entry fees, and a team registration fee. A limited time discount of ten dollars off registration applies through February. A partner organization provides free training programs for participants.

- 1/3-mile swim in Little Pine Lake
- 12.5-mile bike ride
- 3.1 mile run finishing at Arvig Park
Relay teams consist of three individuals who complete different legs of the triathlon. Team registration is handled under a single team fee with additional requirements: other team members must complete their individual registration steps, sign the waiver, and provide T-shirt sizes.
