Kinloss to Lossiemouth Half Marathon
The Kinloss to Lossiemouth Half Marathon is scheduled for 15 February 2026 and runs from Kinloss to Lossiemouth. The course is a Scottish Athletics approved, all-road half marathon that follows a coastal route and finishes on the outskirts of Lossiemouth near the medical centre and community centre. The race is not a closed-road event. Buses run from Lossiemouth to the start at Kinloss Barracks.
The event uses chip timing and offered an option to purchase a bespoke medal at entry; medal availability was limited. Entries close 12 February 2026. Registration and bib collection take place at Lossiemouth Sports & Community Centre, Coulardbank Road, Lossiemouth IV31 6JU; photo ID is required and there is no bib collection at the start line.
There is no bag drop service; items taken to the start on the bus will not be returned unless carried by the runner. Parking is available at the leisure centre and at Lossiemouth East and West Beach car parks; spaces may be limited and organisers advise considerate parking on residential streets.
Race rules and services include a 3 hour cut-off with marshals withdrawn at cut-off times, age restriction of over 18 on race day, no buggies or pets, and only bone-conducting headphones permitted. Awards are given for the top three male and top three female finishers (awards based on gun time) and for age-category winners. Basic finish-area refreshments, coffee vendor, water and light food are provided; changing facilities, showers and toilets are available at the community centre.
