Kingsville Spring Twilight Cross Country Race : 2026
The event takes place in Kingsville, TX, at the Outdoor Recreation Complex of Texas A&M University-Kingsville and is organized by TAMUK Health & Kinesiology. Entry is free. The program includes three running options with separate formats and timing.
- 1k fun run/walk, one loop on soccer and cricket fields, times not recorded
- 3k fun run/walk, 1k plus 2k loops, chip-timed
- 5k race, 1 x 1km loop plus 2 x 2km loops, chip-timed
The course is almost entirely on grass and will be marked with stake flags and flagging tape. Awards for the 3k and 5k include first place overall male and female and winners in age divisions: Under 10, 11-14, 15-19, 20-39, 40-59, 60+, plus TAMU-K student and TAMU-K faculty/staff categories. Team awards are given to top male and female teams; teams may register with up to six members and require a minimum of four to score. Technical short-sleeve t-shirts are reserved for the first 20 finishers in the 3k and the top 30 in the 5k.
Registration is available online through April 7 at 11:59pm. In-person packet pickup is scheduled on April 9 and April 10 at the Student Recreation Center, with race night pickup at the Outdoor Recreation Complex and a race day registration window by the field entrance.
