Kilomathon Scotland : 4 April 2027
Kilomathon Scotland takes place in Edinburgh on 4 April 2027 and offers a set of short road race distances. The event presents a range of options from just over 2.6 kilometers up to 13.1 kilometers. The organisers position the longer distance as a step beyond 10K that can be used for training toward a full or half marathon, and the middle distance as a progression from 5K toward a 10K.
The event includes three distances:
- 13.1K distance, a little more than 10K, used as training for longer races.
- 6.5K distance, positioned as a step up from 5K and training for 10K.
- Mini Kilomathon 2.62K for children aged 6 to 14, grandstand finish at Murrayfield Stadium.
The Mini Kilomathon is aimed at children aged 6 to 14 and finishes with a grandstand arrival at Murrayfield Stadium. The range of distances covers short family and junior participation as well as routes intended for runners building toward longer race distances.
