Event overview
The Kiel Raider Nation Triathlon takes place in Kiel, WI on Sunday, September 20, 2026 at Kiel High School. The event includes multisport races, running events, and youth races on pool, road and trail surfaces. Funds raised support the Kiel Booster Club, a 501c3 organization.
Race options and distances
- Full Sprint Triathlon: 300 yd pool swim, 15.5 mi bike, 3.1 mile run
- Short Sprint Triathlon: 100 yd pool swim, 7.2 mi bike, 2 mile run
- Relays: full and short sprint relay distances for teams of 2 or 3
- Full Sprint Aquabike: 300 yd pool swim + 15.5 mi bike
- Short Sprint Aquabike: 100 yd pool swim + 7.2 mi bike
- Kids Triathlon (ages 6-13): 100 yd pool swim, 2.5 mi bike, 1 mile run
- Raider Dash (ages 2-7): 100 yd run
- Run 5K - mix of road and trail surfaces
- Run or Walk 2 miles - mix of road and trail surfaces
Logistics and race services
Packet pick up and late registration are available on race day; an early packet pick up is offered the day before. Participation shirts are guaranteed for registrations completed by September 13, 2026. The course will have mile markers, volunteers at intersections, custom bike racks in transition, and two water stations on the run course. Results will be posted live at the event and online. The organizer may delay the start, modify the course, or cancel for severe weather; there are no refunds if the race is canceled due to weather.
