4th Annual KidSport Leduc & County Loop the Lake
This family fun run supports KidSport Leduc & County and is held at Telford Park, 4801 44 Street, Leduc, Alberta. The route follows Telford Lake and loops beside William F. Lede Park. The trail is paved and mainly flat with minimal inclines.
Participants receive post event snacks; some entry types include a finisher medal or a t shirt. A DJ provides on site music after the event.
Available distances and format:
- 5 km Walk: paved route beside Telford Lake, not timed, strollers and bikes allowed
- 5 km Run: paved mainly flat course, timed individual start, finisher medal included
- 10 km Run: paved mainly flat course, timed individual start, t shirt and medal included
Children under five are exempt from registration. A special waiver is required for children under 12 who wish to run the 10 km. The event takes place in a wide range of weather conditions; the organizer may cancel on the morning of the event if the trail is unsafe, and no refunds will be issued in that case.
