Kicking PancreAS 5K - Barrie, Ontario
The Kicking PancreAS™ 5K is an inclusive event held at the Barrie Waterfront Heritage Trail and Centennial Park. This inaugural event in Barrie, Ontario, provides a platform for participants to complete a 5 km distance at their own pace, whether walking or running.
The event supports pancreatic cancer awareness, patient support, and Canadian research through the Craigs Cause Pancreatic Cancer Society. The course remains open for a total of 90 minutes.
Available registration categories include:
- 5 km Run/Walk Individual Rate
- 5 km Run/Walk Family Rate (minimum of 3 and maximum of 5 members)
- 5 km Run/Walk Youth Rate (18 years old and under)
- 5 km Run/Walk Team Rate
Registration must be completed in advance as there is no onsite registration. Participants receive an event bib, a finisher medal, and event swag. The event features a purple theme, and attendees are encouraged to wear glow-in-the-dark gear or costumes.
Race kit pickup is scheduled for May 8, 2026, at 56 Dunlop Street East. Fundraising is encouraged to support critical healthcare programs and research within Canada, with pledge sheets available for participants to collect contributions from their networks.
