Event Details
The Kick-Off to Summer 5K is scheduled for Saturday, June 27, 2026, at Olan Thomas Park in Newark, Delaware. The address is 89 Paper Mill Road.
The Course

Awards
Awards will be given for overall male and female finishers, overall masters male and female, and the top three in each age group for both male and female participants. Age groups are: 9 & under, 10-13, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+.
Post-Race
Participants will receive post-race snacks, a race t-shirt, special runner swag, and a drink ticket for a post-race celebration at Twisted Irons Craft Brewing Company. The celebration at the brewery includes food trucks and live music, starting after the race.

Registration prices are listed. The price increases after February 1, 2026.
