Key to a Cure 5K
The Key to a Cure 5K is scheduled for November 14, 2026, in Hartselle, Alabama, at 406 Nance Ford Rd SW. This is the first edition of the event, organized to raise funds for Children's of Alabama hospital in Birmingham. All proceeds will benefit the hospital to support research, daily operations, and medical services for children.

Registration opens September 19, 2026 and closes October 16, 2026. Listed registration fees are $35 for the 5K, $10 for the 1 Mile Fun Run, and $40 for the combined entry. The 5K registration includes a T-shirt.
Packet pickup is scheduled for November 13 at the Hartselle Area Chamber of Commerce, 110 Railroad St SW, Hartselle, with a time window provided by the organizer. Race day packet pickup begins at 6 AM at the Sparkman Civic Center.
Awards will be presented to 1st through 3rd place male and female finishers in each age division: 15 and under, 15 to 30, 31 to 50, and 50 and over.
