About the Event
The Kewash Marathon, Half Marathon, 10K, and 5K is an annual running event taking place on April 25, 2026, in Washington, Iowa. This is the 13th annual Kewash Trail Run and the first year it includes a marathon distance of 26.2 miles. The event starts and finishes at JP's 207, located at 207 W Main St in Washington.
Course Details
The races take place on the Kewash Trail. The course is described as an out-and-back route with a mix of gradual inclines, declines, and flat stretches. It is characterized as a "fast, non-technical" path.

What's Included
All registered participants receive a race shirt, with short-sleeve shirts for the 5K and 10K participants and a long-sleeve option for the Half Marathon and Marathon runners. Every finisher receives a medal. A post-race drink ticket is provided for participants aged 21 and over. Free race photos are made available for download after the event.
