Kevin O'Sullivan Classic 5k
The 11th Annual Kevin O'Sullivan Classic 5k takes place on Saturday, March 14, 2026 at Concord University in Athens, West Virginia. The event is a fundraising race for the Five Aces Scholarship Fund, administered by the Concord University Foundation to assist enrolled students facing temporary financial setbacks.
Racing options include:
- 5k run
- 3k walk
- 800 meter kids fun run
A virtual participation option is available; virtual entrants are asked to submit a selfie or group picture. Event shirts are guaranteed for the first 100 participants or through March 3, whichever comes first. Two on-course water stations will feature Irish music, and participants are encouraged to wear Irish green.
All races start and finish at Concord University Callaghan Stadium track and field. Awards are presented after the 5k run and 3k walk at the Concord University Leslie R. and Ruby Webb Carter Center gymnasium. Historical race maps, results, and training guides such as Couch to 5K plans are provided by the organizers.
