Event Overview
The Keswick Round The Houses Race takes place in Keswick, starting and finishing near the Town Centre Moot Hall. The event headquarters are at the Keswick Cricket Pavilion in Fitz Park.
Course Information
The course is a single loop approximately 7.2 km long. It starts near the Town Centre, goes around the Borrowdale Roundabout, runs out and back along the lakeside to Friars Crag, and includes the Manor Brow loop before returning to the finish in the Town Centre.
Practical Details
The event fee varies: it is £8 for Keswick AC members, £10 for UKAA members, and £12 for non-members. Online booking fees apply. Subject to availability, entries are also possible on the day. Registration and toilets will be available at the Cricket Pavilion. Parking is possible in several nearby areas, including Station Street, behind the Swimming Pool, near the Football Pavilion, and in Town Centre car parks.
Additional Information
Chip timing is provided for the event. Prizes will be awarded for various categories, including the top three overall male and female finishers and age-group winners, but there will be no on-site prize-giving ceremony; all awards will be posted to winners.
