About the race

The Kerzerslauf 2027 is the 49th edition of the Swiss Season Opening, held on Saturday, 20 March in Kerzers, Canton of Fribourg, Switzerland. Since 1979 the event takes place on the third March weekend and signals the start of the outdoor running season.

Routes run through Seeländer nature, pass the Niederried reservoir and go through the village centre of Kerzers. The programme includes multiple competition formats: Volkslauf (mass runs), walking and Nordic walking, and several family and kids races. Elevation is provided for the longer distances and ranges up to 225 m on the 15 km courses.

0.3 km kids and family runs
