Kentucky Nurses Association 5K Fun Run/Walk
The Kentucky Nurses Association 5K Fun Run/Walk is a community event that promotes health, wellness, and support for nursing in Kentucky. The event recognizes and celebrates the work of 93,000 nurses across the state and raises funds for the future of nursing.
The event takes place at Freeman Lake Park on Blue Heron Way in Elizabethtown, Kentucky. There are in-person and virtual participation options, plus a separate kids run. Race packet pick up and on-site registration are available on the day of the event.

- 3.1 Miles in-person 5K Fun Run/Walk
- 3.1 Miles virtual 5K option
- 3.1 Miles kids run (free registration)
Registration pricing is tiered. Early registration for the in-person 5K is $35 through July 5, 2026, and increases thereafter. The virtual option is listed at $45 before July 5, 2026, and increases thereafter. Teams of four or more receive a $5 discount per team member. The kids run carries no fee.
A t-shirt and medal are provided to participants who register by August 1, 2026. Registrations after that date do not guarantee a t-shirt and medal; extra shirts may be available while supplies last. Children 10 years and under may walk or run with a registered adult, but only paid registrants receive event apparel and medals. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
