37th Annual Kenneth Dolan Memorial 5K Run
The event takes place on June 7, 2026 in Prospect Park, Brooklyn, New York. The course starts and finishes at Bartel Pritchard Square at 15th Street and Prospect Park West. An after party follows the race and includes family activities, food, drinks and music.
Distances:
- 5K race
- Pee Wee runs: 100, 220 and 440 yards by age group
Awards include cash prizes for the top five male and female overall finishers and top five in each age group. Team awards are presented to the top three male and female teams and top masters team based on the lowest combined three person times. Age categories range from 8 and under to 70 plus and include divisions such as racewalkers and Clydesdale.
Registration fees vary by date for both the 5K and Pee Wee races. In person registration is held at Holy Name of Jesus Church School Yard the day before and the morning of the event. Online entries close on June 6. Checks are payable to the Kenneth Dolan Memorial Fund. Proceeds support a memorial fund at Iona University that assists a student in need of financial support for education. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
