Kelso Sprint Triathlon and Come+Tri - Kelso Swimming Pool
The event is scheduled for 14 June 2026 at Kelso Swimming Pool. Two race formats are listed: a Sprint Triathlon and a Come+Tri, both using pool-based swims and outdoor bike and run sections.
Distances for each format:
- Kelso Sprint Triathlon: Swim 750m, Bike 20k, Run 5k
- Kelso Come+Tri: Swim 400m, Bike 10k, Run 2.5k
Swims take place in Kelso Swimming Pool and competitors will be started in waves based on submitted estimated swim times. The transition area is located in the car park adjacent to the pool. There is no parking at the pool centre itself; parking is available at Edenside School car park, Edenside Surgery car park and Kelso High School, each a short distance from the venue.
Cycle routes lead north from Kelso towards the village of Ednam, continue up to Stitchel, then return to the town. The running route starts in the historic town centre, proceeds toward the golf course along Croft Park and returns along the same corridor. Parts of the routes pass the boundaries of Floors Castle and Kelso Abbey, the latter built circa 1128. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
