Kelso Sprint Triathlon and Come+Tri
The Live Borders triathlon events take place on 14 June 2026 at Kelso Swimming Pool in Kelso. Two event options are offered at the pool venue, with transitions sited in the car park adjacent to the pool and the pool swim organised in waves based on submitted estimated swim times.
- Kelso Sprint Triathlon: 750 m pool swim, 20 km bike, 5 km run.
- Kelso Come+Tri: 400 m pool swim, 10 km bike, 2.5 km run.
There will be no parking at the swimming centre itself. Parking is available at Edenside School car park, Edenside Surgery car park and Kelso High School; these locations are a short distance from the pool. Cycle routes extend towards the village of Ednam and up to Stitchel before returning to Kelso. The run route goes from the historic town centre up towards the golf course along Croft Park and back. Both routes pass the boundaries of Floors Castle and Kelso Abbey, the latter built circa 1128.
Entry fees for the Sprint event are shown at two price points: £38 until 05 Dec 2025 and £40 until 31 May 2026. Come+Tri entries are priced at £30 in the listed periods. A British Triathlon Race Pass is required for non Home Nation members; pass costs are £2 plus £0.08 service for participants aged 24 and under, and £8 plus £0.32 service otherwise. A service fee of 4% with a minimum of 50p applies to each sign-up. The entry closing date is 31 May 2026 and the event status is listed as open.
