Kedron Running Festival
The Kedron Running Festival, presented by Peak Property, takes place at Shaw Park in Wavell Heights, QLD on 27 September 2026. Races start from Shaw Park and follow the Kedron Brook Cycleway, described as a flat and fast route.

- 10 km
- 5 km
- 2 km Family Dash
All event distances are chip timed by Multisport Australia. Finishers receive a Kedron-themed medal, post-race snacks, sponsor giveaways, and a finisher’s certificate. There are no cut-off times for the 2 km, 5 km, or 10 km events; the Half Marathon has a 3.5 hour cut-off.
The 2 km Family Dash is designed for children to participate; an accompanying adult can run for an additional fee but will not be timed and will not receive a medal. Race bibs are printed three weeks before the event and posted two weeks out; to have a name on a bib, registration must occur at least three weeks before the race.
Event logistics note parking at the Brisbane Union Rugby Club and street parking nearby. Bus routes 320, 321, 333, 338, and 340 pass near Kedron Brook Greenway. Wooloowin Station is the closest train station, a short walk from the venue. Photographers will be present on course.
