Kedron Running Festival
The Kedron Running Festival is a community running event held at Shaw Park, Wavell Heights, Queensland on Sunday 26 September 2027. Races follow the Kedron Brook Cycleway, providing flat, fast courses that run alongside the brook and start from Shaw Park.

- 21.1 km Half Marathon
- 10 km
- 5 km
- 2 km Family Dash
All event distances are chip timed by Multisport Australia. There is a cut-off time of 3.5 hours for the Half Marathon; the 2 km, 5 km, and 10 km have no cut-off times. Each finisher receives a themed medal, post-race snacks, sponsor giveaways, and a finisher’s certificate. The 2 km Family Dash is aimed at children; an accompanying adult can run with a child for an additional fee, but the adult will not be timed or receive a medal.
Race bibs are printed three weeks before the event and posted two weeks before; registering before the three-week cutoff is required to have a name on the bib. A photographer will take course photos that are posted after the race. Participants should be aware there may be other pedestrians, cyclists, and dogs on the shared paths and are advised to take care and avoid using earphones.
Public transport options include nearby Wooloowin and Eagle Junction stations and several bus routes; on-site parking is available near the Brisbane Union Rugby Club and surrounding streets. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
