Kedron Running Festival
The Kedron Running Festival, presented by Peak Property, takes place on Sunday 27 September 2026 at Shaw Park in Wavell Heights, Queensland. Races run along the Kedron Brook Cycleway and start from Shaw Park.

- 2 km Family Dash
The course follows the Kedron Brook Cycleway and is described as flat and fast. All event distances are chip timed by Multisport Australia. Each finisher receives a Kedron-themed medal, a finisher’s certificate, post-race snacks, and sponsor giveaways. A photographer will capture images on course to be posted after the event.
The 2 km Family Dash is aimed at getting youngsters involved in outdoor activity. An accompanying adult may run for an additional $10; that adult will not be timed and will not receive a finisher’s medal. There are no cut-off times for the 2 km, 5 km, or 10 km events. The Half Marathon has a 3.5 hour cut-off.
Event bibs are printed three weeks before the race and posted two weeks out; to have a name printed on a bib, registration must be completed at least three weeks before the event. Parking is available at the Brisbane Union Rugby Club and on surrounding streets. Bus routes 320, 321, 333, 338, and 340 pass nearby; Wooloowin and Eagle Junction stations are within walking distance. Participants should be aware of other pedestrians, cyclists, and dogs on the shared paths and are advised to pay close attention while on course.
