Miami's Key Biscayne Half Marathon
Miami's Key Biscayne Half Marathon is an annual running event held in the spring on Key Biscayne, Florida. The event takes place at Crandon Park, with the race starting and ending near the beach area between the large restroom and the coastal front. Parking for participants is available at designated lots within the park.
The event features a single distance:
- Half Marathon (13.1 miles)
The course is designed as an out-and-back route that takes runners through Crandon Park and the Virginia Key Park Trust. Much of the race path is situated along the water, providing ocean views throughout the run. The course is characterized by significant sections of shade to protect participants from direct sunlight.
While the majority of the route consists of standard running surfaces, a small portion of the half marathon requires traversing dirt roads and paths. Timing and scoring services are provided for all participants, and the event includes award categories. Accessibility accommodations, such as sign language interpreters or material in accessible formats, can be requested at least seven days in advance through the organizer, Integrity Multisport.
