KVIS 2026 Michael P. Berardino Memorial Road Race
The KVIS Michael P. Berardino Memorial Road Race is held in Katonah on September 19, 2026, on The Village Green at Parkway and Edgemont, across from the Katonah Village Library. The event includes multiple running distances organized by KVIS and co-sponsored by the Town of Bedford.
The scheduled races include:
- 5K Run/Walk - 5 kilometers combining road and trail
- Kid's 1 Mile Fun Run - 1 mile for children
- Kid's Dash - 200 meters, free for children 5 and under
The 5K course uses both road and trail surfaces. Runners should expect natural obstacles such as loose gravel, rocks and roots. Strollers and dogs are not permitted on the course. Race day registration is available online only via mobile device; paper forms are no longer used.
Registration fees are listed as $30 for the 5K and $10 for the Kid's 1 Mile; the Kid's Dash is free. An age based or team discount may be applied at checkout for the 5K. A free K5K t-shirt is available to the first 100 registrants; additional shirts may be purchased on race day while supplies last.
A collection box for canned goods will be available on race day to support the Community Center of Northern Westchester. The race serves as KVIS's largest fundraiser and involves many local community activities and projects. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
